Mymae Savoie Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mymae Savoie in Lake Charles, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 2, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leva Duhon and Nita Broussard Duhon. She is survived by: her son James Savoie (TuTu); her grandchildren, Michael Paul and Racissa Savoie; her great grandchild Jayson Clyde Savoie; her friends, Tiny Benoit, Brenda VanAtten, Chad Arceneaux and Renella Boudreaux; her husband John Clyde Savoie; her brother Thomas; her sister-in-law Bertha Duhon; and also Johnette Savoie.
Viewing was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church (5250 W Creole Hwy, Cameron, LA 70631). A rosary was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
