He was predeceased by: his wife Diane Lewis Malone; his parents, John Clifton Malone and Cecile Bailly Malone; and his siblings, John Clifton Malone, Jr. and Dorothy Malone Bowes.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Douglas Malone, Jr. (Colleen Gautreaux) of Moss Bluff, Mindy Malone McCosh of Lake Charles and Michele Malone McCann (David) of Lake Charles; his grandchildren, Benjamin Bellard, Katherine Bellard Lear (Matt), Caleb Malone, Madison Malone, Bailee Malone (Jachai Jacko), Paytin McCann and Lexie McCann; his great grandchildren, Warner Bellard, Theodore Lear, Bryley Jacko and Kamryn Jacko; his sister Darlene Malone LeMaster of Katy, TX; his nephew Bryan Bowes (Michelle) of Severna Park, Maryland; and his girlfriend Debbie Derouen. He is also survived by two great nieces and one great nephew; and cousins and friends.
