It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Cline of Lake Charles, Louisiana, who passed away on January 10, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sturman Lee Cline and Nelwyn Cole Cline. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Yates Cline; his stepsons, Walter Hammond and Andrew Hammond (Tessa); his mother-in-law Margaret Gene Yates; his sisters, Colleen Cline Guidry (Butch) and Kay Cline Johnson (Doug); his sister-in-law Anne Monroe (Randy); his nieces and nephews, Deanna Guidry Russell (Jeff), Kimberly Guidry Eaves (Tim), Jennifer Guidry Smith, Lauren Kay Johnson and Eric Michael Johnson; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Morgan Eaves, Seth Smith, Cole Eaves, Abigail Smith, Ryder Eaves and Luke Smith Jake Russell; and his granddaughter Josie Eileen Hammond.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Home (4321 Lake St, Lake Charles, LA 70605). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations in Michael's honor may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, an organization close to his heart.
