He is survived by: his son Talon Blade Sonnier; his stepdaughter Tabitha Jade; his parents, Ellen Davenport Sonnier and Ernest Sonnier Jr.; his brother Stephen Sonnier (Amy); and his aunts, Madgie Theriot (Sonny) and Paula Davenport Sewell (Keny).
Viewing was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Home (4321 Lake St, Lake Charles, LA 70605). A rosary was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 6:15 PM at the same location.
