She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Porter and Yola Mayfield Porter. She is survived by: her sisters, Mary Ceasar of Lake Charles, LA. and Annie Porter Roy (Karl) of Beaumont, TX.; her brother-in-law Wilson Broussard (Ruby) of Beaumont, TX; and her husband Willie C. Broussard. She is also survived by seven godchildren, a host of niece, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the James Funeral Home (1801 Moeling St, Lake Charles, LA 70601). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church (2031 Opelousas St, Lake Charles, LA 70601).
