It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Paulina Oviedo (Lake Charles, Louisiana), who passed away on April 6, 2025, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Galo Pachano and Amelia Pachano; and her brother Andres. She is survived by: her husband Ivan Oviedo; her children, Natasha, Mercedes, Mitchell and Frances; her brothers, Patricio and Galo; and her pet Meenu.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Lakeside Funeral Home (340 E Prien Lake Rd, Lake Charles, LA 70601). A rosary will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Saint Martin de Porres Catholic Church (5495 Elliott Rd, Lake Charles, LA 70605).
