She was predeceased by: her son Mark Lucas; her parents, Emily Bryant, and Braxford Bryant, Sr.; and her brother Braxford "Sonny" Bryant, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Kent Lucas; and her children, Tammy Smith Amy (Howard Amy), Charmaine Wood, Emily Wood (Phillip Anderson), Renee Burke (Tom) and Kevin Lucas. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Johnson Funeral Home (4321 Lake St, Lake Charles, LA 70605). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
