He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Slaughter and Nettie Slaughter (Gauthier); and his son Jonathan Earl Slaughter. He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey Paul Slaughter (Karla) and Lorita Lynette Slaughter; his granddaughter Kayla Michelle Slaughter; and his siblings, Everette Slaughter (Mary) and Kathy Wood.
