He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Vidrine; his daughter Mary Cavazos; his parents, Theomile Vidrine and Felonise Vidrine; and his siblings, Isabella McGee, Ervin Vidrine, Agnes "Pope" Vidrine, Rose Poff, Della Dardeau, Willard Vidrine, Essie Vail, Helen Vidrine and Earl Vidrine.
He is survived by: his children, Helen Manuel (Jerry) and Loree Richard (Anthony Simoes); his grandchildren, Jessica Manuel, Allison Schwartz, Kimberly Richard, Samantha Richard and Christopher Cavazos; and his great grandchildren, Ada, Ella and Conan.
Viewing was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Home (4321 Lake St, Lake Charles, LA 70605). A graveside service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Prien Memorial Park (2220 Country Club Rd, Lake Charles, LA 70605).
