He was predeceased by: his parents, Simon Sonnier and Leora Sonnier; his wife Betty Sonnier; his son Kermith Sonnier, Jr.; his brother Freddie Sonnier; and his great grandchild Bentley Collins.
He is survived by: his children, Sherman "Bobo" Sonnier (Jody), Chad Sonnier (Stephanie) and Cecelia Marcantel (Bobby); his stepson Scott Skibo (Fuselier); his siblings, Louise Stelly (Michael), Phillip Sonnier (Tonie) and Kathaleen Hooper (Gerald); and his grandchildren, Benji Collins, Steven Collins, Courtney Jellots, Pyper Sonnier, Jeremy Corrigan, Hunter Skibo, Hailey Skibo, Kaleigh Courville and Tabitha Courville. He is also survived by 4 greatgrandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews.
