Kermit Karriker Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kermit Karriker of Lake Charles, Louisiana, who passed away on December 24, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Kermit may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Kermit touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Burton Karriker and Virginia Elizabeth Williams; the mother of his children Eileen Eve Kirkwood; and his wife Nancy. He is survived by: his sons, Bryan Karriker (Deborah Decker Karriker) and Galen Karriker (Kendra Karriker); and his grandchildren, Claire, Camille, Graeson and Korrinne Karriker.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Home (4321 Lake St, Lake Charles, LA 70605). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at 2023 Broad St, Lake Charles, LA 70601. A burial was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Graceland Cemetery.
