John Window Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Window (Lake Charles, Louisiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 19, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Jr. Window and Jimmie Window; and his siblings, Nancy Madison and Jimmy Window. He is survived by: his wife Geneva Window; his sons, Mark Window (Melanie), John Window IV, Kevin Window (Lisa) and Brent Window; his grandchildren, Christi Schirmer (Matt), Kelsey Frank (Will), Elizabeth, Dayna, Phillip, Ava and Blake Window; his great grandchildren, Niles and Charlee Schirmer; and also Cajun.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Johnson Funeral Home (4321 Lake St, Lake Charles, LA 70605). A rosary will be held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church (221 Aqua Dr, Lake Charles, LA 70605). A burial will be held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 12:00 PM at the Highland Memory Gardens (6325 Common St, Lake Charles, LA 70607).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital and Tunnel to Towers.
