He was predeceased by: his parents, Bessie Mae Johnson and Arthur Williams; his wife Helen Marie Manuel Williams; his daughters, Betsy Williams and Jackie Williams; his grandson Ryan LeDay; his son-in-law Robbie Hawkins; and his goddaughter Alice Reese.
He is survived by: his daughters, Josephine Hawkins of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Linda Batiste (Daniel Wayne) of Lake Charles, Louisiana and Barbara LeDay of Lake Charles, Louisiana; his sisters, Merid Malveaux and Gracie Vincent; his sister-in-law Angela Williams; his grandchildren, Alexis Robinson (Richard), Amber Jones (Richard), Joel LeDay (Brianna Chesson) and Kaylyn Hawkins (Chris Taylor); and his great grandchildren, Ava Jones, Aiden Robinson, Remi Robinson and Ian Jones. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mt Calvary Baptist Church (300 N Blake St, Lake Charles, LA 70601). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
