She was predeceased by: her parents, John L. McDonald and Yvonne Maddox McDonald. She is survived by: her husband Richard Hinton; her daughter Kym Hinton; her granddaughter Ella Claire Hinton of Lake Charles; her siblings, Anita Platt of Houston, William McDonald, Johnny McDonald, Linda Thibodeaux and Dianna Quibodeaux; and also, Morgan Rodgers of North Carolina and Blake Mudd (Stephen) of Houston.
