She was predeceased by: her parents, Beulah Granger and Marciel Manuel; and her brothers, Roger and Rodrick Manuel. She is survived by: her husband James Balfa; her daughter Phyillis Ann Balfa; and her pets, Beau, Tucker, Snow and Henry. She is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Home (4321 Lake St, Lake Charles, LA 70605). A rosary was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Margaret Catholic Church (2500 Enterprise Blvd, Lake Charles, LA 70601).
