He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Lazare and Mable Lazare; his wife Beverly Ann Lazare; and his siblings, Sydney George, Rodney Lewis Lazare and Loyce Fontenot.
He is survived by: his children, Herman D. Lazare of Lake Charles, Wallace Grant of Lake Charles and Pamela Lazare of Houston; and his sister Etta Green of Lake Charles.
