He is survived by: his wife Patricia Skipper of Lake Charles, LA; his children, Dedra Simpson, Debbie Millet and James Skipper, Sr.; his siblings, Rosamary Smith, Josephine Reed, Marjorie Franklin (Melvin) and Cynthia Franklin; and his grandchildren, Ja'Cori Thomas, James Skipper, Jr., Johnathon Skipper, Sr., Vincent Hall and Lillian Millet. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the King's Funeral Home (1611 Gerstner Memorial Dr, Lake Charles, LA 70601). A memorial service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
