With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Hazel Breaux of Lake Charles, Louisiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Hazel left this world on December 7, 2024 at the age of 92, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ferdinand Gary and Rose Gary; her siblings, Arthur Gary, Lester Gary and Helen Owen (Joseph Breaux, Sr.); and her sons, Marvin Breaux and Joseph Lee Breaux.
She is survived by: her children, Monica Andrus (Darrell), Angie Granger (Mark), Jan Nagem (David), Chris Breaux, Joey Breaux and Patrick Breaux; her daughter-in-law Dee Breaux; and her siblings, Clifford Gary, Albert Gary (Dolores), Charles Gary (Linda), Clara Granger and Mary Elizabeth Demary (Eddie). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Home of Lake Charles (4321 Lake St, Lake Charles, LA 70605). A rosary was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 6:30 PM to 6:45 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John Vianney Catholic Church (7120 LA-14, Bell City, LA 70630). A burial was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at the Bertrand Cemetery.
