He is survived by: his children, Michelle Renee Sanders, James Wesley Sanders (Amanda), Kimberly Dawn Smith (Derrell) and Monica Denise Abshire; his grandchildren, Tyler Sanders, Abby Sanders, Shelby Browne, Kayla Smith, Kylie Browne, Carson Sanders, Isabella Abshire, Brittany Naquin and Kloie Naquin; and his great grandchildren, Conner, Carter, Scarlett and Finley.
