He is survived by: his children, Charlotte Vanessa Gass Sheffield and Jared Christian Gass (Laura Miller); his grandchildren, Tylan Jared Gass, Tanner Kade Gass, Baylor James Gass and Allyson Louise Rae Sheffield; his brother Larry Gene Gass; the mother of his children Deborah; and his mother-in-law Helen Frey. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, brothers in law.
