Gerald W. Quarles Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gerald W. Quarles of Lake Charles, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 30, 2025 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Beverly Quarles, and Earl Quarles, Jr.; and his aunts, Gladys Fortsch, Josephine Schapker (Henry), Margie Quarles, Velma Trahan and Joyce Estelle.

He is survived by: his brother Michael Timothy "Tim" Quarles; his stepmother JoEllen Quarles; his stepsisters, Desiree LeBlanc (Mike), Dana Cradeur and Dina Cuccio (Nick); and his aunts and uncles, Gerald R. Quarles (Patti), Lloyd Quarles (Dehlias), Ronald Quarles, Rosemary Smith, Virginia Panunto (Paul), Wanda Green (Percy) and Walden Montie (Janice).

Viewing was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Johnson Funeral Home (4321 Lake St, Lake Charles, LA 70605). A rosary was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Margaret Catholic Church (2500 Enterprise Blvd, Lake Charles, LA 70601).
