It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Franklin E. Fondel Sr. (Lake Charles, Louisiana), who passed away on February 13, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosa Beatrice Fondel (Williams) and David James Fondel, Sr.; his siblings, John D. Fondel, James Fondel (J. C.), Marion Fondel, David J. Fondel II, Raymond M. Fondel Sr., Francese Fondel Gordon and Mary Ellen Semien (Antoine); and his godchild Eddie Lee Leviege, Jr..

He is survived by: his wife Stella Louise Fondel; his sons, Franklin E. Fondel, Jr. and Adrian G. Fondel; his granddaughter Alexis Fondel; his brother George Fondel; and his goddaughter Deborah Doshier. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
