He is survived by: his wife Charlotte LaBarbera; his children, Richard LaBarbera, Michael LaBarbera and Trena LaBarbera Soileau (Rudie); his grandchildren, Sean Hager, Tristan Hager (Aaron), Mikaela Ferrier (Julien), Lily LaBarbera and Isabella Soileau; and his great grandchild Frankie Rosalind Nelsen.
Viewing was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Johnson Funeral Home (4321 Lake St, Lake Charles, LA 70605). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
