He was predeceased by: his parents, Fountain Ellis Settlemyer Sr. and Clarice Davis Settlemyer; and his sister Mary Jo Boudreaux. He is survived by: his children, Tammy Stephens (James), Vivian Ginger Grigsby (Richard), Fountain Ellis Settlemyer III (Shonna) and David Settlemyer; his grandchildren, Kristen, Brittany, Caitlin, Tara, Christopher and Julia; and his sister Evelyn Bertrand. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
