He was predeceased by: his parents, Eloise Hester and Edward Barry Oakley; his wife Lucy Amelia Green Oakley; his great grandchild Levi Oakley; and his brothers, James Oakley and Charles Oakley.
He is survived by: his sons, Philip Oakley (Pam) and Randy Oakley (Linda); and his grandchildren, Jared Oakley (Elisa), Amy Hennessey (Matt) and Ken Oakley (Sydna). He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the First United Methodist Church (812 Kirkman St, Lake Charles, LA 70601). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
