With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas G Duplantis of Lake Charles, Louisiana, who passed away on April 17, 2025 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carrie Duplantis and C. J. Duplantis; his sons, Wilson Duplantis and Austin Duplantis; his siblings, Scottie Duplantis, Dickie Duplantis and Julie Smith; and his nephew Brady Duplantis.
He is survived by: his son Dallas Duplantis; his grandchildren, Gaidge Duplantis, Sebastian Duplantis, Brelin Duplantis, Casen Duplantis and Gabriella Breaux; his great grandchild Deaton Duplantis; his brother Steven Duplantis; and his nieces and nephews, Scott, Carrie Duplantis, Jessica, Jeff Smith and Krissy Duplantis.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the J. E. Hixson & Sons Funeral Home (3001 Ryan St, Lake Charles, LA 70601). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
