She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Shearer and Katherine Shearer; and her nephew Mark Shearer II. She is survived by: her children, Brittany Duhon (Jason), Samuel Shearer (Amber) and Mandy Shearer; her grandchildren, Colston Duhon, Kately Duhon and Lennox Duhon; and her siblings, Mark Shearer and Vicki Langley. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Moss Bluff Pentecostal Church (999 Sam Houston Jones Pkwy, Lake Charles, LA 70611). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
