She was predeceased by: her parents, Rose Marie Armato and James Elbert Phillips; and her husband Jason Owen. She is survived by: her children, Denise Renee Tuttle Varner (Marshall) and Evan Owen (Briana); her grandchildren, Kaylen, Chelsa, Curtis, Jason and Perry; and her siblings, William "Bill" Phillips, James Phillips and Denise Phillips. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
