He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Reed and Amy Reed; his siblings, Donald Reed, Vincent Reed and Deanna Broussard; his daughter Kendra Fults; and his grandson Nicholas Wooten.
He is survived by: his wife Janis Reed; his children, Deidra Wooten (Robert), Regina Darbonne, David Fults, Shawn Goodeaux (Clint), Derrick Reed, Vanda Simon (Woodley), Michelle Granger (Sconnie), Kevin Reed (Laura), Ruben Reed (Michele) and Madelyn Guidry (Lee); and his siblings, Francis Reed and Deborah McCown. He is also survived by 31 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Home of Lake Charles (4321 Lake St, Lake Charles, LA 70605). A rosary will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
