With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Cooper Johnson in Lake Charles, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 6, 2024 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Cooper Johnson to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Promise Johnson and Rosalie Johnson of Peakville; and his siblings, Leroy, Johnny, Rodney Johnson and Bessie Rosamore.
He is survived by: his son Kurt; his daughter-in-law Tiffiny Johnson of Mamou; and his siblings, Mary Lou Hanchett of Lake Charles, Loria Woods (Everette) of Mesa, Ariz, Gloria King of Jonesboro, Norma Cotton (Melvin) of Orange, Calif. and Linton Johnson of Lake Charles. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Christian Baptist Church (202 N Franklin St, Lake Charles, LA 70601).
