He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil K. Colon and Marian Palmer Colon of Lake Charles, Louisiana.; and his sons, Jeffrey Palmer Colon and Robert Baker Colon. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his son John Guerin Colon (Deborah) of Darien, Connecticut.; and his grandchildren, Jessica Baker Colon, David Guerin Colon, Sarah Palmer Colon and Michael Wyatt Colon.
A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Giles Chapel of Deerfield Retirement Community (1617 Hendersonville Rd, Asheville, NC 28803).
