She is survived by: her husband Gerald Fontenot; her stepchildren, Terral Fontenot and Youlanda Fontenot; her siblings, McKeever Edwards, Jr. of Mossville, McKenneth Edwards (Delores) of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Ester Drummond (Kenneth) of Bronx, Maranda Jourdan (Pastor Austin) of Sulphur, Louisiana and Melissa Miller of Issaquah, Washington; her godchild Shavon Robinson; her stepgrandchildren, Shalanda "Janee" Fontenot of Houston, Damarcus Fontenot of Houston, Alonte Fontenot of Houston, Trevonte Fontenot of Houston and Terral Fontenot, Jr. of Lake Charles, Louisiana; her cousin Beverly Deville; and her niece Courtney Edwards "Courtney Baby". She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
