He was predeceased by: his wife Betty J. Manuel; his sons, George Bruce Manuel and Christopher Layne Manuel; his siblings, Velma Doucet, Iola Reed and Harvey Manuel; his grandson Justin Manuel; and his sons-in-law, Jack Farquhar and Danny Lee Gabbard.
He is survived by: his children, Dennis Manuel (Patty) of Moss Bluff, LA, Vallie Manuel Guillory (Cornelius) of Mauriceville, TX, Connie Manuel Coco of Lake Charles, LA and Pansy Manuel Gabbard Marsiglia (Sam) of Lake Charles, LA.; his grandchildren, Danny Manuel, David Manuel, Adam Manuel, Laura Manuel, Monica Comeaux, Jason Guillory, Daniel Coco, Michael Coco and Bradley Gabbard; his great grandchildren, Gage Manuel, River Manuel, Dillan Manuel, Wyatt Gavitt, CJ Manuel, Lochlan Broussard, Chloe Guillory, Summer Guillory, Zayne Coco, Allie Hanson, Carl Coco, Jonathan Coco, Reid Coco, Dean Coco, Grace Link-Gabbard, Gabrielle Link-Gabbard, Bailee Gabbard and Cullen Gabbard; and his great great grandchildren, Whitley Coco and Scarlett Gavitt.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 9:00 AM at the J. E. Hixson & Sons Funeral Home (3001 Ryan St, Lake Charles, LA 70601). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
