It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Ann Scheib Stevens of Lake Charles, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on March 31, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Flora Kenney Scheib and Joseph Gilbert Scheib, Sr.; and her sister Flo Mary Scheib Simonson. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Lehrue Stevens, Jr.; her children, Shawn Stevens Thomson of Aspen, CO, Lehrue Stevens, III (LeeAnna) and Eric Trammell Stevens (Shawn) of Lake Charles; her brother Joseph Gilbert Scheib, Jr. of Madisonville, LA; her grandchildren, Sarah Ann Carey of Sandpoint, Idaho, Savannah Stevens Wood (Frank Jr.), Lehrue Stevens IV (Sara Jae) and Samantha Rachel Stevens of Lake Charles; her great grandchild Elizabeth Ann Wood; and her caregivers, Judy Moreaux, Teresa Drake, Elva Jones and Vanessa Day.
