He was predeceased by: his great-grandparent Adam Reed; his grandmother Patricia Garcia; his stepbrother Cody Poncho; and his close friend Jean Todd Duos. He is survived by: his wife Kristy Mullen of Lake Charles; his stepchildren, Karson Joiner, Kylie Joiner and Ethan Higginbotham; his parents, Archie West of Lawtell and Antoinette Reed of Lemoyen; his stepfather Curt Richard; and his siblings, Brittany West of Lafayette, Ryan Richard of Lemoyen, Torri Walls of Opelousas and Koby Deville of Eunice.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home (302 St John St, Bunkie, LA 71322). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peter's Catholic Church (111 Par Rd 4-121-2, Morrow, LA 71356).
