Though Wanda may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Wanda touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Chaney and Lillie Mae Chaney; and her brother Kenneth Norman Chaney. She is survived by: her sons, Joseph Martin (Danielle) of Moss Bluff and Joshua Turner of Lake Arthur; her grandson Iverson Turner; her sister Myra Chaney Green (Tommie) of St Louis; and her nephew Justin Green of St Louis, Missouri..
A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at the Antioch Baptist Church (625 Iowa Ave, Lake Arthur, LA 70549).
