He is survived by: his children, Dane O'Blanc (Shelby) and Jada Brockhoeft (Chad) of Lake Charles, LA; his grandchildren, Liesel O'Blanc, Evie Brockhoeft and Evan Brockhoeft; his mother Betty O'Blanc of Lake Arthur; his uncles, Alton O'Blanc (Gloria) of Lake Arthur and Floyd Istre of Jennings; his siblings, Milton O'Blanc (Renee) of Porter, Pamela Commander (William) of Martinez, Georgia, Patricia Bertrand of Lake Arthur, Jed O'Blanc (Brenda) of Cypress Point and Paula Roy (Scott) of Andrus Cove; his close friend Gracie Stewart of Three Rivers, Texas; and the mother of his children Mona Guidry. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to M.D. Anderson Cancer Center or Lake Charles Memorial Hospital Oncology Department.
