It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sharon Murray Duhon of Lake Arthur, Louisiana, born in Jennings, Louisiana, who passed away on October 23, 2024, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph; her parent Willie Murray; her siblings, Robert Murray, Helen LaFosse, Rose Morvant and Carol Hebert; and her mother Lucille Landry Murray.
She is survived by: her children, Matthew Duhon (Caroline), Deborah Guidry, Nichole Murray and Kelli Hoke (Robert). She is also survived by ten grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, October 25th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Matthews Funeral Home - Lake Arthur (317 Kellogg Ave, Lake Arthur, LA 70549). A rosary was held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 at the Andrus Cove Cemetery Andrus Cove Cemetery.
