With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peggy Cormier Hiles Youngblood of Lake Arthur, Louisiana, born in Gueydan, Louisiana, who passed away on August 12, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Cormier and Anaice Broussard; her husband Thomas Youngblood; her son Rodney C. Hiles; and her siblings, Thaddeus Cormier and Leona Melancon.
She is survived by: her children, Ronney Hiles of Gueydan, LA, Rickey Hiles (Monica) of San Diego, CA, Robert Hiles of Jennings, LA and Rose Hiles Jannise (Raymond) of Lake Arthur, LA; and her sisters, Emily Faye Romero and Nancy Benoit. She is also survived by her seventeen grandchildren, and twenty-nine great grandchildren.
