We are sad to announce that on November 26, 2021, at the age of 80, Oran J Simon of Lake Arthur, Louisiana, born in Gueydan, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Marguerite A. Simon and DeJean Simon; his siblings, Eunice Vincent, Mary Ellliott, Wilson Simon, Nelson Simon, William Simon, Ceasar "Sammy" Simon and Joe Simon; and his parents-in-law, Elaire and Edia Hebert.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Hebert Simon; his children, Lance Simon (Beverly), Kirk Simon (Leslie), Shatner Simon (Tammy), Dusty Simon (Torey), Cody Simon (Sarah) and Christine Simon Brewster; his brother Henry Simon; and his nephew Charles Simon. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.
