He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy "Katan" Broussard; his parents, Philip Sr. Broussard and Agnes Broussard; and his siblings, Louis Broussard, Philip Broussard Jr., Joyce Monceaux and Loudia "LouLou" Boudreaux.

He is survived by: his children, Douglas Broussard (Tammy) and Verna Broussard; his grandchildren, Ethan Broussard, Emma Broussard, Kelsey Feverjean, Avery Monceaux and Allie Navarre; and his great grandchildren, Cadence, Luke, Olivia, Emery, Beckham and Brooks Nolan.
