He is survived by: his wife Betty Beard Hines; his children, Crystal Landry (Keith) and Michael Hines; and his siblings, Delores Spell of Pineville, Geraldine Bailey (Royce) of Pineville and Charles Hines (Ruby) of Jennings. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
