He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Betty Vincent, Clifford and Lorena Melancon; his brother-in-law Jordan Schexnider; his cousin Todd LeJeune; and his uncles, Corey Vincent and Kirby Mallett.
He is survived by: his parents, Keith Melancon and Raedona Mallett Melancon; his son Jayden Keith Melancon; the mother of his child Michealine Ogden; his siblings, Stacie Melancon, Ashley Schexnider, Kristin Melancon (Darrell Boudreaux) and Christopher Melancon; his nieces and nephews, McKinsey, Alayna Schexnider, Kaysen Schexnider, Darrell Luke Boudreaux, Jr. and Hunter Gautreaux; and his godparents, Gene and Theresa Gillentine.
