She was predeceased by: her parents, Philomen LaFosse Broussard and Octave Broussard; her siblings, Nolan, Lawson, Costan, Lloyd Broussard, Liffey Broussard Mire and Ruby Broussard Hoffpauir; and her grandson John Bennett Lapoint.
She is survived by: her husband John Edward; her sons, Bennett Lapoint (Elizabeth), Steve Lapoint (Angie) and Brian Lapoint (Joan); her granddaughters, Ashley Ego (Jim), Brittany Lapoint (Sumar), Hilary Moreau (Dennis) and Catherine Lapoint (Cole); and her great grandchildren, Ethan, Alexa Perron, Addie Lapoint, Everett Moreau, David and Andrew Ego.
