He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Pitre and Versie Mae Bolfa Pitre; and his sisters, Lou Anna Teal, Thelma Portier, Velma Reed and Geneiva Mire.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Pitre; his children, Shane Pitre, Christina Pitre and Bridget Bergeon (Jared); and his stepchildren, Bernard Duhon (Sonya), Tony Duhon (Kris), Felton Duhon, Penny Hanks and Tessie Latiolas (Scott).
