He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillian David and Percy David; his in-laws, Nelson and Rose Dugas; his brothers, Ronald David, Cecil David and Johnny David; and his in-laws, Grace Gaspard, Earl Dugas, Dallas Dugas, Walter Dugas and Chester Dugas.
He is survived by: his wife Juanita; his children, Polly Bellard (David), Joetta Richard (Jerry), Luke David (Danita), Joseph David (Laura), Rebecca David, Percy David (Amy), Rachal David, Jacob David, Nicole Benoit and Nicklous David; his sister LeeAnn (Craig Kratzer); and his sisters-in-law, Sara Monceaux, Belle Durrett, Dianne Dugas, Lou Dugas, Del David, Cheryl David and Carol David. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the Miguez Funeral Home (829 4th St, Lake Arthur, LA 70549). A prayer was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A procession was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church (203 Commercial Ave, Lake Arthur, LA 70549). A Mass was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:15 PM at the St. Anthony Cemetery.
