He is survived by: his sisters, Gwen "Prudy" Plaisance (Lawrence) and Maria "Cissy" Vouevas (Bernie); his caregiver Roxann Chaisson Williams; his son Toney Ackman Pizani (Debbie); his stepsons, LeDale, Dassinger (Carey) and Lance Terrase; his nieces and nephews, Lea Forbes (Richard), Lawrence Plaisance Jr. (Mitzi), Lewin Pizani (Trista), Niki Pizani, Clayton Pizani, Nichole McKerthie (Eric), Shaw Couevas (Lydia), Tonya Neal (Mike), Stuart Pizani (Randi), Stephanie Pizani and Casper (Kelcie); and his aunt Opal Ruttley. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
