She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Landry and Anna LeBlanc; her husband Malcolm Freeman Tarver; and her siblings, Russel James Landry, Jean Janelle Rivers and Mary Earline Bourque.
She is survived by: her sons, Matthew Christopher Tarver (Jeanne) of Sunset, Master and Malcolm Vance Tarver (Jackie) of Breaux Bridge; and her siblings, Daniel Paul Landry (Julie) of New Iberia, Mary Joyce McBride of Lafayette, Patsy Ann Guidry (Dale) of Houston and Ruth Ann Genest (Tommy) of New Iberia. She is also survived by two daughters; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM and on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Melancon Funeral Home (4117 N University Ave, Carencro, LA 70520). A rosary was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church (610 Rain Tree Trail, Lafayette, LA 70507).
