It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tracy Elizabeth Cortez (Lafayette, Louisiana), who passed away on August 25, 2018, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dua "Toby" of Lafayette and Annabelle Trahan (Romero) of Lafayette. She is survived by: her spouse Marion J.; her children, Scarlet Pettit (Mike) of Lafayette, Toby Cortez of Atlanta, Page Cortez (Angela) of Lafayette, Lane Cortez (Amy) of Lafayette, Marcy Griffin (Scott) of Atlanta and Cort Cortez (Pam) of Susanville, CA; her grandchildren, Claire Pettit Arabie, Carl Pettit, Toby Cortez II, Matthew Cortez, Maria Cortez, Mary Margaret Griffin, Ashton Griffin and Alexis Cortez; and her sister Terry Broussard (Tommy). She is also survived by her husband and children.
