She is survived by: her children, Ian Bernard of Sumter, SC, Domonique Bernard of Grand Prairie, TX and Sidney Bernard (Jessica) of Glenn Heights, TX; her grandchildren, Amiyah Bernard, Asia Robbins, Leah Bernard and Sidney Bernard Jr.; her siblings, Sarah Williams (Hector) of Lafayette, Monique Christian (Leo) of Lafayette, Yvette Martin (Harold) of Las Vegas, Charles Dural of Las Vegas, Ronald Dural of Las Vegas and Roland Bernard of Lafayette; her brother-in-law Paul Richard; and her godchildren, Bethany Largusa, Toni Williams and Delana Portalis. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 7:30 AM at the Melancon Funeral Home (4117 N University Ave, Carencro, LA 70520). A rosary was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church (145 Martin Luther King Jr Dr, Lafayette, LA 70506).
